Bosco Fernandes started playing tennis as early as 1978 and has competed in International & Satellite Tennis tournaments.

Bosco has been providing excellence in junior and adult tennis coaching programmes and facilities that, whilst supporting the local community, will enable players of all ages and abilities to fulfil their tennis potential, including achievement at the highest international level in the sport since he started coaching in 1990 in the Middle East.

He was the Senior Tennis Pro teaching at the Ottawa Athletic Club / Noble Tennis School (2010-2015), a highly ranked Tennis Development Centre (TDC) in Canada and also the Head Tennis Pro at the prestigious Rockcliffe Lawn Tennis Club, Ottawa (2010-2012). Bosco was the Head Pro at the Don Mills Tennis Club, Toronto and also the Assistant Tennis Pro at the NYTA - Winter Tennis Club, Toronto.

Bosco has a wealth of knowledge in junior development programs, also highly knowledgeable and qualified for all levels of Junior / Adult - Private & Semi-Pvt. and group lessons. His games based approach style of PTR's International Modern method of teaching tennis has helped many a long way. Bosco is also Tennis Canada certified. Bosco is also Pat Etcheberry Certified (Orlando, Florida) where he gained fitness, strength and conditioning philosophy and techniques.

In this his 29th year in full-time professional coaching and certified by the Worlds Largest Tennis Teaching Organisation PTR, Bosco is currently one of the Head Tennis Pros with the Capital Kids Tennis Program in Ottawa. He is also involved with Team Tennis India in the Junior Development Program.
